THE BALLAD OF ACCOUNTANT JO A comic musical narrated by a mysterious balladeer. In his search for racial identity, Accountant Jo discovers that he is unidentifiable and thus invisible to society at large, an epiphany which leads to an ill-fated crime spree. This piece was created for 'Messy Utopia' as one of 5 short plays about the biracial experience. 'Messy Utopia' included work by Velina Hasu-Houston, Naomi Iizuka, Seema Sueko, and Janet Allard.
